UMaine Business Challenge Expands to Bates, Bowdoin, and Colby- Receives Technology Prize

(From the Bangor Daily News, University of Maine Press Release 2/5/2015) ORONO – The UMaine Business Challenge (UBC), Maine’s largest student entrepreneurship competition, announced recently that all higher education institutions located in Maine, headlined by Bates, Bowdoin, and Colby are eligible to compete in this year’s competition. The expansion comes in a year where the stakes are raised thanks to the $5,000 Fournier Family Foundation technology prize, which coupled with free entry into Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development’s Top Gun Prep Program brings the total prizes awarded to approximately $20,000.  Read more here.
