Table Talk Workshop: HR: Ready, Launch, Grow

Have you recently become an employer, are planning to hire employees or have employees and want to make sure you have the right processes in place? This session will provide you with a basic understanding of employer responsibilities and good foundational HR practices. We will introduce you to the requirements for the small employer including:  new-hire paperwork and reporting, payroll, employment posters and notices, workers’ and unemployment compensation, employee files and record-keeping, critical employment policies, employee compensation and benefits, and training.  Most importantly, we will leave you with a list of online resources where you can go to explore these topics in more depth after the session with our friends from KMA Human Resources.
