A Busy Season for Innovation in Maine

We are heading toward spring with full days and a busy schedule. First and foremost, we look forward to seeing all of you at our Networking event on Tuesday, May 19 from 4:30-6pm at the Maine Center in Portland. This event is part of Startup Maine Week and MTI has a number of presentations in addition to the networking event. Be sure to register for Startup Week, or if you can’t make the whole event, we hope you can come to our networking event (it’s free but we ask that you rsvp).

One of the events MTI is spearheading is an in-person MxG (Maine accelerates Growth) Meeting led by our very own Tom Kittredge on Tuesday from 12-1pm.  At this meeting, Tom will present results from a start-up ecosystem survey we’re currently circulating. Please take 5 minutes to complete the survey if you’ve not already – we’re looking to find ways to improve Maine’s start-up ecosystem and we want to identify the gaps.

In other news, we were excited to announce several significant projects we’re partnering on in the life sciences sector. One collaboration with UNE for cutting edge research equipment (you can read more đây) and one with MaineHealth, which will help fund Maine’s first physical clinical trial facility.
