FAME approves loan to help a Millinocket aquaculture business

(From Mainebiz) FAME is partnering with MTI and other investors to help finance the Katahdin Salmon Inc. site in Millinocket. Included in the project -- a recirculating aquaculture system where salmon will be hatched, raised, processed and sold to regional Northeast markets. The funding will also help create up to 80 jobs.
