Lunch & Learn: Knowing Your Numbers (UpStart Center, Orono)

Are you starting a business or do you want to better understand your current company’s finances to make that business more successful? Join us at the UpStart Center for Entrepreneurship on Thurs., Sept. 27th from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm for a “Knowing Your Numbers” Lunch & Learn. Over lunch, John A. Moore, an Adjunct Instructor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management at Husson University, will go over how to:

Understand the basics of financial management for small businesses & startups, including budgeting and bookkeeping.
Read and understand your business’s financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow projections

The event is free for tenants of the UpStart Center, but we do ask that non-tenants pay $10 to cover the cost of lunch.
