Business Breakfast Forum: Shaking Things Up - Maine Technology Institute

Business Breakfast Forum: Shaking Things Up

Disruptors-those creative people whose innovations start a revolution within their chosen industries.  On February 1st, we’re bringing some of Maine’s best disruptors together. These panelists will talk about how they knew they were on to something, their greatest challenges bringing their innovations to market and future opportunities.

Join us as we hear from Kent Peterson of Fluid Imaging Technologies, whose understanding of particle flow is shaking things up in medical diagnostics, environmental monitoring and even NASA.

Andrew Katon of Cobbler Technologies will talk about  designing a unique 3-D printer that creates components of footwear and has the potential to modernize one of Maine’s legacy industries – shoemaking.

And from Kay Aikin of Introspective Systems, a company that collects and presents data in ways so innovative it has been used to locate earthquakes for the U.S. Geological Survey, as well as to detect and diagnose cancer and to create a whole new way to stabilize our power grid.

RSVP required. Breakfast included. Click halkan to learn more and to register.
