Portland remote-work startup raises $2.1M to fund further growth

(From Mainebiz) Friday, a Portland-based developer of a communications platform for remote-work teams, recently raised $2.1 million in venture capital funding. The firm plans to use the funds for hiring, product development, sales and marketing and general costs. Friday received funding from MTI in prior years.
