Description of Fields
Business Name: This is the legal name of the business entity that was awarded MTI funding, as registered with the Maine Secretary of State’s Bureau of Corporations.
Montant accordé: This is the total amount of the MTI award. Some MTI awards are issued in separate disbursements, but this amount reflects the total funding associated with this award.
Award Types: Business Innovation Funding can be awarded in four forms: grants, loans, convertible notes, and equity investments.
Geographical Area Served: This is the county where the MTI awardee is headquartered. Many MTI awardees have employees in more than one Maine county, however for the purpose of this list, the location of the headquarters is listed.
Program Area: All MTI awardees must have an innovation within one or more of MTI’s seven technology sectors. In the Awards list, only one sector is listed, even for those that fall within multiple sectors.
Request Date: This is the date that the Awardee submitted an application for MTI funding.
