Applying to Top Gun is easy. The process involves submitting a brief application and presenting a pitch with a slide deck to members of the Top Gun Advisory Board.

What is Top Gun PreFlight?

PreFlight is designed to help entrepreneurs submit the best Top Gun application that they can, and in the process move their business forward.  PreFlight sessions offer assistance in areas that entrepreneurs need both in the Top Gun application process, and in launching or growing their business.

Haven’t ever done a pitch or put together a pitch deck? No Worries! You can sign up for one of our PreFlight workshops where you can learn about the basics of pitching and get feedback on your pitch from members of the Maine Mentor Network.

Cost- $50.00 for Unlimited Access to all sessions.

Our PreFlight training dates//topics are:

11/29, 12/13 – Pitching 101 (1 hour workshop) This workshop will teach what’s in a Basic Business Pitch if it’s new to you, and provide feedback on your pitch for Top Gun (or other purposes) if you already know the basics.

12/6, 12/7, 12/14, 12/15 – Mentoring (30-minute private sessions)
Mentors are a big part of the Top Gun experience. These private sessions with mentors will help you identify key issues that you need to be working on, either in Top Gun or on your own.

You may attend all of these sessions or just one, depending on your needs. Please make sure to reserve and choose all of the dates you plan on attending.
