Bill Card from the U.S. Small Business Administration, who will be speaking about sources of capital to start or grow your business.
Lou Simms from Maine Technology Institute, who will be speaking about MTI’s funding opportunities for innovative businesses.
Jane Mickeriz from the Maine Small Business Development Center at Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments (AVCOG), who will be speaking about free and confidential technical assistance available to help small businesses.
Kevin Smart from Community Concepts, who will be speaking about Microloans (up to $50,000) and free technical assistance provided by Community Concepts.
Diane Jackson, Governor’s Account Executive from the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development, who will be speaking about working with State Agencies and navigating permitting and licensing processes for small business.
Charlie Woodworth, Executive Director of Greater Franklin Development Council (GFDC) who will be speaking about how GFDC’s programs can help local businesses, as well as an update on the county-wide broadband plan.
