SBIR/STTR Workshop: Preparing a USDA/NIFA SBIR Phase I Proposal

The Maine Technology Institute (MTI) and Maine EPSCoR are conducting a workshop to prepare Maine innovators and companies for the upcoming U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute on Food and Agriculture (USDA/NIFA) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) solicitation. Phase I and II awards are for research and development that leads to new products, processes or services that enhance aquaculture or other areas of interest.

At this interactive workshop, SBIR expert Karen West and members of MTI’s Technical Assistance Program will discuss:

  • USDA/NIFA topics and examples of previous awards
  • How to write a compelling SBIR proposal
  • How MTI programs can help you prepare your proposal

The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required. Lunch will be served.
