Preparing for the April 2020 Matchmaker (Maine PTAC)

Join Maine PTAC counselor Ed Dahl for a Matchmaker training workshop at the Greater Portland Council of Governments (GPCOG) on Wednesday March 18, 2020, 10:00 am to noon. This workshop will help prepare Maine PTAC clients for the spring 2020 Department of Defense/New England Region’s Small Business Matchmaker scheduled for Thursday April 9th and Friday April 10th 2020 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island. This is the large annual DoD Matchmaker for the New England region including the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, and eastern New York state. The PTAC training workshop will include: (1) things to consider before the event; (2) elevator speeches; (3)capability statements; (4) event choreography, and (5) what to do and not do. The workshop is provided at no charge to PTAC clients and other interested Maine-based small businesses.
